Every once in a while we get to find out who the voice is behind the big giant head (the Wiz, I don't know!) and it is always a pleasantry to see them step out on their own and flourish just as great. I often think of the voice behind the '80s group Black Box who hid the identity of their singer for appearances, and it means that much more to me when we can truly identify the talent behind groups like Morcheeba.

Skye Edwards, former vocalist for trip-hop group known as Morcheeba, has a voice as smooth as silk and easily reminds me of the Sade spirit. In fact, it's as relaxing as a warm bath. Skye is a great break away for 2009 while we wait on the highly anticipated releases of 2010. Check out her new album "Keeping Secrets" and album I am truly in love with. Check out these video from her 2006 album "Mind How You Go" and "I Believe" from her latest projects.
