Here is a nice note from Taalam Acey:

Peace Poets,

I hope this message finds you well. Lately, I've been in the process of creating a second volume to "The Market 4 Change" which will include a few new poems as well as pieces from my collection that were not included in the first "The Market 4 Change" but perhaps should have been. This volume will come out as two separate CDs instead of as a double CD. I've written some powerful new material and plan to begin recording it tonight at the 5 Seasons in Baltimore. The first disc of the new CD will be released in early December and the second disc will follow shortly afterward. It was necessary to create a new disc because "Self Construct" is completely out of print and "California Suite" will follow it out of print within the next few weeks. The new project will have new pieces as well as capture some of my best poems from the first ten CDs (including a few of the collaborations), as well as the poems from "Self Construct" and "California Suite."

Excellent Exposure is still doing well, but it seems the vast majority of people either pre-purchased or purchased it as soon as it was released. I was considering taking it out of print until the spring. In fact, although I continue to receive plenty of testimonials, I stopped promoting it. However, I've just learned, a re-order I placed for the book a while ago, which I assumed had been overlooked by the printer, is actually being shipped to me now. Since I'll be fully restocked, I've scheduled to exhibit and speak (for 3 days) next week at the Philadelphia International Art Expo at The Liacouras Center (see below). If you're not able to attend the expo and would like a signed copy of Excellent Exposure, please order one to be shipped to you right away from www.taalamacey.com/love.

In personal news, I recently spoke with my biological father for the first time in at least four years. Though it was somewhat awkward, it wasn't a heavy conversation; pretty much just small talk and catching up. However, I felt like I may have been carrying around a bit of unnecessary weight (i.e., too many deadbeat dad poems. lol!), so I reached out to speak with him.

Well, wishing you the best as always. I'll keep you posted on the new CD and please check my schedule below.

thank you.
